Meet Dr. John Pavlakis
Cosmetic Dentist in Middletown, ConnecticutDr. Pavlakis received his Bachelor of Science at SUNY New Paltz and continued his dental education at University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. During his dental training he was president of his class and after school worked in public health dentistry. Dr. Pavlakis practiced dentistry in Keene, New Hampshire before moving to Connecticut to be closer to his family.
As a practicing dentist, Dr. Pavlakis stays on top of current dental trends by attending many Continuing Education classes in areas such as implants, 3rd molar extractions, and Invisalign. He is a part of the Seattle Study Club and Synergy Study Club, and a member of the Middlesex Dental Society, Shoreline Dental Society, Connecticut Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Dental Association. He believes getting to know and working with other local dentists helps create the best care for patients.
Dr. Pavlakis’ warmth, humor, and honest compassion makes patients feel at ease while in the chair. His ability to really listen allows patients to feel heard and understood in their wishes for their oral health and cosmetic dental concerns. He takes pride in providing painless dentistry, Dr. Pavlakis and the patient work together to create a smile both parties are proud of. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and doing a variety of different preventative and restorative dental procedures. Dr. Pavlakis lives on the Connecticut shore with his wife, daughter, and beloved dog. After growing up in the Hudson Valley and living in New Hampshire, Dr. Pavlakis has gained appreciation for many outdoor activities including mountain biking, snowboarding, fishing, and boating. As a memory of Buffalo, he is always looking for the best chicken wings around and enjoys watching the Bills during football season and roots for the Yankees, no matter what kind of year they are having.
